Fred on ABC News – Topline

Fred was interviewed Tuesday on ABC News for the show, Topline, hosted by Amy Walter (ABC News Political Director) and Rick Klein (Senior Washington Editor for “World News Tonight with Diane  Sawyer”).  Fred was at ABC News Studios in New York, while the hosts interviewed him via satellite from Washington, DC.  For link to story, click on image below, or CLICK HERE.

New York 6th State to Legalize Gay Marriage

Fred arrived in New York just in time to celebrate the 33-29 vote in favor of legalizing gay marriage in that state.  He joined the celebration at The Stonewall Inn, the birthplace of the gay rights movement 42 years ago.

Fred spent 4 days in New York, and kept busy with meetings, the Pride March on Sunday and interviews, including one with BBC Radio for the show “Meet in Manchester”, an hour long segment hosted by a team of 3 that was aired at 9 pm (London time) Monday.

Fred arrived in Chicago on Tuesday to participate in the Clinton Global Initiative America.  The two day conference tackles economic issues facing our country, and has included such topics as creating a long-term plan for the country, micro-financing, job training, innovation, investment, tourism, unemployment and what sacrifices to make in lean times.
